The Day of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina is celebrated annually on April 15. This day is dedicated to the memory of the establishment of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ARBiH) — the armed forces that were formed at the beginning of the Bosnian War (1992-1995).

The Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina was officially established on April 15, 1992, in response to the armed conflict that began after the collapse of Yugoslavia. The main task of the army was to protect the territory and sovereignty of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina from external aggression and internal separatist movements.
